Medical Acupuncture
Medical acupuncture involves the use of very fine needles. They are inserted through the skin and left in position. The number of needles and how long they are left in for will be determined by the client's condition and may be different for each individual. The insertion of the acupuncture needles stimulates the nervous system, encouraging the body to release its natural painkillers and change the way we feel pain. Acupuncture can be used to help treat various musculoskeletal conditions such as low back pain, neck pain and tension headaches and migraines.
